We conserve our environment and act sustainably.
Conserving a healthy environment maintains the basis of our existence. We make responsible use of natural resources. When developing new products, we consider their eco-footprint right from the start. We use recyclable materials and eco-friendly production processes. We design our workspaces eco-friendly. We oblige our suppliers and partners to operate eco-friendly.

STILL works with an integrated management system for workplace safety, health and environmental protection, which is constantly being improved. STILL is certified in the areas of quality management, environmental management, energy management and safety at work.

Recycling lithium-ion batteries
Efficient, powerful - and now even circular: STILL makes lithium-ion technology even more fit for the future
STILL is closing the recycling loop for lithium-ion batteries in intralogistics: the pioneering specialist for intralogistics solutions recycles the lithium-ion batteries of its trucks at the end of their life cycle at the European plant of its strategic partner Li-Cycle. Thanks to Li-Cycle's innovative recycling process, which enables up to a 95 percent recovery rate, critical materials can be retained and used to produce new battery cells. With this, STILL is leading the way in answering the question of how to deal with "end-of-life" lithium-ion batteries in the future.
Used forklift trucks/reconditioning
Reconditioning used trucks conserves resources and avoids waste and is therefore an important factor in STILL's sustainability efforts. At the STILL reconditioning centers, our teams of experts take care of a careful evaluation and inspection of the entire truck.
The Blue Competence initiative
We are partners of the Blue Competence initiative. Blue Competence (www.bluecompetence.net) is an initiative run by the VDMA (www.vdma.org), aimed at promoting sustainability in the mechanical engineering industry, and highlighting sustainable solutions in the industry. With our partnership, we undertake to comply with the twelve sustainability guidelines of the mechanical engineering industry.
