STILL wins IFOY Award with first series-produced automated vehicle

Twelfth IFOY Award for the intralogistics specialist from Hamburg

Hamburg/Baden, 14 June 2024 - The ingenuity of intralogistics specialist STILL has once again impressed the international IFOY jury. This is the twelfth time that the Hamburg-based company has won one of the coveted IFOY Awards. The EXV iGo automated pallet truck, STILL's first series-produced automated truck, triumphed in the "Mobile Robot" category.

The happy winner: Frank Müller, Senior Vice President Sales & Service BusinessDevelopment (left) and Andreas Kwiatkowski, Product Manager Automation & Intralogistics Solutions (center), accepted the IFOY Award 2024 for the EXV iGo on stage from Lars Otte, Member of the Management Board Schnellecke Logistics (right).

Anticipation was at its peak when this year's IFOY Awards were presented on 14 June in the impressive setting of the imperial city of Baden, just outside Vienna. A total of 16 innovative products and solutions from 15 intralogistics suppliers from six countries had qualified for the final. And then, finally, the triumph: STILL's EXV iGo automated high lift truck won the 'Mobile Robot' category.

Developed to meet the increasing demands of the market for solutions that are quickly available, intuitive to operate and easy to scale, the EXV iGo is a milestone in STILL's automation portfolio. Thanks to the simple iGo easy commissioning software, the truck also enables companies with small fleets to easily get started with automation. “Being honoured with the IFOY Award confirms our focus on customer-oriented innovations,” says Frank Müller, Senior Vice President Sales & Service Business Development STILL, who accepted the prestigious award on stage. “The EXV iGo is an excellent example of the fact that STILL does not drive developments forward simply out of technical ambition, but always with a clear focus on the needs of our customers.”

Easy to scale with maximum availability thanks to industrialised production and a digital service concept

The EXV iGo is STILL's first automated vehicle to be produced in series on an industrial scale and is based on a thoroughly modular concept. The central idea behind this is fast availability and maximum scalability. Thanks to industrialised production and modular system parameters, the EXV iGo is quickly available, easy to put into operation with iGo easy and grows exactly with the customer's needs. Service and maintenance are also fast and flexible thanks to the new digital service concept. Among other things, it allows service technicians to access the digital twin of each individual vehicle for diagnosis and troubleshooting.

All this makes the EXV iGo a pioneering vehicle for companies with little experience of automation that want to enter the world of automated warehouse processes without complications. Frank Müller: “Process automation is also becoming increasingly relevant for companies with smaller fleets. That's why we attach great importance to availability and ease of use on the one hand, and reliable and flexible service on the other.” The STILL EXV iGo is the smart answer to this cross-industry need - with high cost efficiency, fast implementation and flexible scalability.
