STILL-sponsored award "Logistics Leader of the Year" 2023 goes to Axel Frey and Harald Seifert of Seifert Logistics Group
Promoting innovation
Hamburg, 30 November 2023 - This year's "Logistics Leader of the Year" award goes to Axel Frey and Harald Seifert of the Seifert Logistics Group for their company management based on the principle of "employees first". The award honours entrepreneurs whose ideas and work already show today that they will play a key role in shaping the future of logistics. STILL, the Hamburg-based intralogistics specialist, has sponsored the "Logistics Leader of the Year" award since this year. Last night, Frank Müller, Senior Vice President Sales & Service Business Development at STILL, presented the coveted trophy at the Logistic Hall of Fame Gala in Berlin.
In their strategic reorientation of the family-owned Seifert Logistics Group, Harald Seifert, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Seifert Logistics Group, and Axel Frey, CEO of the Seifert Logistics Group, have relied consistently and with great economic success on employee focus, digitalisation and sustainable growth for several years. The jury of the "Logistics Leader of the Year" award was particularly impressed by their "employees first" philosophy. According to the jury, this is an impressive sign of the future viability of the logistics industry and provides a point of reference, especially for logistics characterised by medium-sized companies.
STILL takes innovators and pioneers to a new level
Just as the logistics leaders are taking the logistics industry to a new level, STILL is lifting these innovative minds to a new level by sponsoring the award. STILL gives all visionaries space to freely develop their ideas - and a stage to share their pioneering innovations with the world. Especially in challenging times like these, entrepreneurial courage, foresight and innovation are more important than ever to equip companies and the entire logistics industry for the future.
"Breaking new ground has been in our blood at STILL for more than 100 years - in terms of technologies and products as well as corporate management and responsibility," explains Dr Florian Heydenreich, Executive Vice President Sales & Service STILL EMEA. "We are all the more pleased that by sponsoring this award we can encourage innovators in the industry on their way and give them the public attention they deserve," adds Frank Müller, Senior Vice President Sales & Service Business Development STILL, who presented the coveted trophy to the winners from the Seifert Logistics Group at the Logistics Hall of Fame Gala in Berlin yesterday.
Awarding innovation drivers in the industry
With the "Logistics Leader of the Year" award, the jury of the Logistics Hall of Fame honours logistics pioneers and innovators who have shown particular commitment to their company, the industry and sustainable logistics. The decision is based on topicality and benefit to the company, as well as innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurial change.
