STILL expands "Xcellence" portfolio with three new warehouse trucks for smart efficiency and precision fit

A well-organised warehouse is an important basis for successful work. Whether for loading and unloading lorries or for internal transport, in addition to high load capacity and ease of operation, aspects such as safety and ergonomics, flexibility and agility are decisive purchase criteria for many companies. With three new warehouse trucks from its Xcellence Line, the Hamburg-based intralogistics specialist STILL is now making it even easier, safer and more efficient for companies to organise their warehouses.

With the EXV 10C-16C, the EXD 18C-20C and the EXH-L 16-20, STILL is adding three new trucks to its Xcellence Line warehouse technology portfolio – for high efficiency and ergonomics combined with remarkable compact dimensions.

Time is money, space is scarce and safety is paramount - a challenging reality for many companies in their day-to-day warehouse and production operations. Storage areas are being used in ever more compact and space-optimised ways. When loading and unloading lorries, supplying production lines or storing and retrieving goods, literally every second counts. At the same time, health and safety requirements are becoming increasingly stringent.

With the EXV 10C-16C high lift pallet truck, the EXD 18C-20C double stacker truck and the EXH-L 16-20 low lift pallet truck, STILL is adding three new trucks to its Xcellence Line warehouse technology portfolio: they combine efficiency and ergonomics, are very easy to manoeuvre even in the smallest spaces, in narrow aisles, in lifts or in lorries due to their compact dimensions and, thanks to their IFOY award-winning tiller concept, are intuitive and safe to operate. In addition, the modular concept of the Xcellence Line allows the trucks to be customised to suit the customer's needs. In addition to a wide range of equipment and accessory options, customers can choose between various safety features and different energy systems. "Companies are faced with ever-increasing demands on their internal logistics and high competitive pressure. Against this background, customised solutions that precisely meet the respective requirements and make daily work easier have a high and constantly growing priority," explains Janos Poppe, Head of Sales Training & Documentation at STILL. He adds: "With the broad portfolio of compact and flexibly configurable warehouse trucks in our Xcellence Line, we are providing a smart answer to our customers' needs".

Highly efficient in the smallest of spaces: EXV 10C-16C

With the EXV 10C-16C pedestrian high lift pallet truck, STILL is responding to customer demand for a warehouse truck that is easy to operate and can be manoeuvred safely and precisely even in confined spaces. With its high residual load capacities and lifting heights of over five metres, it also enables particularly effective warehouse consolidation. The EXV 10C-16C's stable 4-wheel chassis keeps it stable even in tight corners, while smart safety features such as Dynamic Load Control always adjust the lift height to the current load. Different drive programmes and the optional initial lift ensure flexibility in use, while rounded fork tips make threading pallets quick and easy. The EXV 10C-16C is also available in a lithium-ion version - for extra high availability and the most compact dimensions of the series, thanks to the permanently installed battery.

Saves time and space like no other: The EXD 18C-20C

When it comes to space/time efficiency, the EXD 18C-20C double stacker truck is second to none. Manoeuvrable in narrow aisles, it can be steered precisely and can handle loads of up to 2,000 kg. In addition to the 1,000 kg on its wheel arms, it effortlessly lifts a further 800 to 1,000 kg on its forks. This makes it particularly effective where large quantities of material need to be moved in tight spaces and a short time, for example when handling stacked pallets or unloading lorries with false floors. The EXD 18C is optionally available with a mono mast - for even greater safety, precision and ergonomics thanks to an unobstructed view of the forks.

Two-in-one for maximum efficiency: The EXH-L 16-20

The EXH-L 16-20 low lift pallet truck is a smart all-rounder in the warehouse. It provides efficient and safe support for goods transport and order picking. It not only transports loads of up to 2,000 kg from A to B with ease, but also lifts them ergonomically and safely to a working height of up to 761 mm - even more conveniently with the optional auto-lift function. A sensor detects the top edge of the load and raises or lowers the picking lift as soon as the load is removed or added. This ensures back-friendly posture and ergonomic working conditions at all times. Like the other new warehouse trucks in the STILL Xcellence Line, the EXH-L 16-20 is compact and manoeuvrable, can be flexibly configured and combined with various application-specific additional equipment. Powerful lithium-ion batteries guarantee long operating times with low energy consumption and can be charged and recharged quickly and flexibly with the optional integrated chargers.

Tiller with OptiSpeed for intuitive handling, ergonomics and safety

All three trucks are equipped with the IFOY award-winning STILL tiller with OptiSpeed. It ensures not only high goods handling and efficient working, but also maximum working comfort, safety and health protection. The smart OptiSpeed system automatically adjusts the driving speed to the angle of the tiller, enabling speed-optimised horizontal transport and an ergonomic working position. The tiller is also equipped with large control buttons, making it easy and straightforward to operate with one hand - left or right, large or small - and to control all driving, lifting and steering operations simultaneously. The large LED or touch screen display in the tiller head provides the operator with all relevant information about the truck and load, such as battery charge level, operating hours and the current driving programme.
